Nafpaktos
Nafpaktos is a beautiful city, built amphitheater in the pine-covered slope. With 19 768 inhabitants is the second largest city of Aitoloakarnania and is 42 km from Missolonghi and 10 km from the ferry Antirrio.

In recent years the city is modernizing rapidly and is able to satisfy all the requirements of visitors while largely maintaining the traditional style. The old circular harbor with two watchtowers guarding the entrance charms even the most demanding guests. The well-preserved Venetian castle with successive rows of walls at the top of the hill, is one of the most beautiful in Greece and real gem for the city. Nafpaktos is a city with a lot of traffic during the whole year, but increased during the summer months.
